Not sure if i want to loose weight or not

Hi,

I gained about 40-45lbs actively since I heard about this. It took me about 1,5 years. The pounds came just because I ate what I want. After some months of eating less (not by instance) I lost a bit and then gained it back and so on.

Some weeks I stuffed my face with 4500 calories a day and I loved eating a lot - still love it.

But now with 203lbs and 5,97ft (bmi about 27,7) I realised that my face got extremely chunky compared to maybe 194lbs.

My concern:
On one hand I want to loose weight maybe to 190lbs because then I like my face more. On the other hand I don't want to get skinnier on my belly and everything, because I love my chubby body! I'm even excited to see what I'd look like with 220lbs. But because of my face and double chin I'm a bit scared to gain more.

Has anyone experienced something similar? What would you advise?

Until you can decide what you want, just maintain for now.

But if maintaining means also occasionally eating two pizzas for dinner just because I want it =longterm weight gain?

I don't want to lose weight. But my body sort of does. I just want to keep getting fatter. No matter what my doctor or family says. I'm happier being heavier.

What maintaining looks like in practical terms depends on your lifestyle and metabolism. You'll have to find your own balance. But the goal is to have a stable weight.
